Everyday Heroes were honored with beautiful portraits!

We attended the opening reception for "Everyday Heroes" art exhibit at Sinclair Community College and had a wonderful time!

The purpose of the art exhibit was to honor unsung everyday heroes whose hard work we depend on every day, without whom our lives would not be the same!

Everyday heroes honored with almost 50 beautiful portraits by Arts Alliance Painters included mailmen, medical workers, tug boat operators, firefighters, naval gunboat operators, teachers, librarians, law enforcement officers, grocery store attendants, hair stylists, landscape workers, and many others.  The portraits were painted by members of the Arts Alliance Painters, a social group of 20 artists who meet weekly at the Snyder House at Cottell Park to paint and draw.
